Progress Report: 3 Dec 2010

Dear Ps Frank

Thank you very much for sending me another $2,200.00 which I have already received in my account.

Time flies very fast when we are busy and now I am in the midst of wrapping up my trip after being in Indonesia for the past 2.5 months. My last trip to Katingan will next week on 6 December and after that I will be heading home to Perth on 13 December. Overall, it has been a very hectic but fruitful trip.

The church building project in Tewang Panjang is progressing well and I am happy to see that it is proceeding smoothly according to plan. I am hoping to buy all the remaining raw materials including some fit-outs to keep the project going while I am away and if that happens, I anticipate that the project will be completed in late March. I will send you another set of photos as soon as it is available to keep you up to date on this development.

I have included in this email the accounts for the Tewang Panjang project so that you can see how I have spent the money you have given for this project (please see attached file). As an estimate, I have converted AU$1.00 to Rupiah 7,850.00.

Thank you once again for your support and I look forward to catching up with you when I am back in Perth.

Progress Report: 16 Nov 2010

Dear Ps Frank

It was good to catch up with you in Jakarta and thank you for remitting the funds to my account. At this stage, the development of the church in Tewang Panjang is progress fast eventhough in the rainy season. Many times the workers could not bring the materials to site coz the mud stop the trucks bring the wood to the church location, but they are working till midnight to get the job done. It was just incredible to witness that though they are working in hard condition, they are so happy in spirit because they simply want to have a house of God in their village. I will keep you inform of the progress until the work is completed in due course.

I truly appreciate all your support and prayers and please convey my well wishes to the Board of Foursquare Church and to your congregration for their generosity in giving.

Dear Pastor Frank

I have received the $10,000 which you remitted to my account, thank you. Once I transferred the funds to Indonesia, I will let you have a copy of the receipt. With my trip to Bunbury, thanks for your offer to arrange overnight accommodation for me. I won’t be staying overnight for this trip but will be interested to do so next time. Also, Naomi and my daughters will not be joining me as they will be overseas on that weekend. Joel whom you met previously will most probably accompany me. Would appreciate if you could please let me know the time of your church service. God bless you and your family.
